The Engagement Visibility Self-Check
Test whether your vendor view supports decisions, or only reports totals. The point is not to get a perfect score. It is to find exactly where the operating picture breaks.
1. Can you answer these at engagement level?
Use your top 30 to 50 vendors. Check a statement only if the answer is documented and traceable, not merely known by one person.

Starting pointVendor totals are not yet a decision view
Use the starter file below to split the first five material vendors into actual engagements.
2. Capture the first finding
Do this for one material vendor before expanding the exercise. One honest row is more useful than a polished but invented inventory.
Your data stays in this browser. This page does not upload or store your answers. The CSV is a blank local template, not a request to send ScaleX your spend data.
3. Run the 20-minute version
- Split: flag vendors that appear under more than one service type or business unit.
- Attach: add the commercial model and renewal or notice date per engagement, not per vendor.
- Name: identify the accountable owner. If you cannot name a person, that is a finding.
- Compare: contrast concentration in your top 20 engagements with concentration in your top 20 vendors.
